Thank You, From All of Us

Filipa has been drawing since she was a child.

She didn’t start drawing because someone told her to, but because art has always been her safe place, where she felt free to express her emotions. When she was happy, she drew. When she was sad, she drew. When words didn't work, drawing did. At ten she started drawing with Charcoal Drawing. Later she discovered Digital Illustration and she never really stopped. She always loved drawing people and elements of Nature.

Her mother is a teacher so Filipa knows what that looks like up close: the patience, the dedication, the belief in students who don't believe in themselves yet. She had a teacher like that too, an Art Teacher who looked at her work and said: “Don't give up on your art, keep drawing!”

This box started from the memory of that teacher.

We sat down with Filipa and built it together: the concept, the products, the story. Everything inside was chosen by her, for the feeling she wanted a teacher to have when they opened it. The postcards and bookmarks were hand-illustrated by Filipa and carry her signature.
