Línguas de gato - literally "cat's tongues" - are one of those Portuguese classics that never really needed updating. Thin, light, with a gentle caramel sweetness that stays with you just long enough.
These come from a small producer in the north of Portugal who still makes them the old way. The kind of cookie that disappears from the plate before anyone admits to taking one.
